Requirement to obtain permit
11Unless a person holds a permit with respect to an exotic animal that is not exempt by regulation from the application of this section, that person shall not do any of the following with respect to the exotic animal:
(a)
own or possess the exotic animal;
(b)
import or attempt to import the exotic animal into the Province;
(c)
export or attempt to export the exotic animal out of the Province;
(d)
release or attempt to release the exotic animal; or
(e)
traffic or attempt to traffic the exotic animal.
